GG.BET Shuffle reaches playoffs

The group stage of the GG.BET Shuffle IEM Chicago Qualifier has come to an end, with the four group winners booking spots in the playoffs.
LDLC, Imperial, Vitality and Red Reserve have all earned spots in the single-elimination bracket after topping their respective groups, joining four sides invited by UCC.
Gambit, one of the four invitees, have decided to withdraw from the tournament as they still do not have a full line-up, with HEROIC replacing the CIS side in the bracket. The Danish team, who recently won the Games Clash Masters, in Poland, will be taking on Red Reserve in the quarter-finals.

The stand-out match of the first round will be the one pitting Vitality against StarSeries i-League Season 6 semi-finalists OpTic in what will be the biggest test for NBK's side since the creation of the team.
The winner of the GG.BET Shuffle will secure the final spot at IEM Chicago, a $250,000 tournament that will be held next month at the Wintrust Arena, joining the likes of Astralis, Liquid and Natus Vincere.
